REPORT ON ORDINANCE No.....................of 1929.

1.

I have examined the accompanying Ordinance. intituled an

Ordinance to amend the law relating to intoxicating liquors,

and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not

contrary to the Governor's instructions.

2.

Section 2 of this Ordinance amends section 2 of the

principal Ordinance as follows:-

(a) In paragraph (8) a reference is inserted

to analysts other than "the Government

Analyst" proper, because there are more

analysts than one in the service of the

Government, one of them being attached to

the Imports and Exports Department: see

also sections 17 and 18 of this Ordinance.

(b) Paragraph (11) is repealed because the

control of eating houses has now been

transferred to the Sanitary Board: see

section 2(1) and 4 of Ordinance No.19 of

1928, and section 3 of Ordinance No.30 of
